The "Kiss" officially called "Unconditional surrender", is a statue By J. Seward Johnson, based on a photo of a sailor kissing a nurse,  taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt at the end of World War II in Times Square. This photograph was published in "Life" in 1945.

My first day in San Diego, I was at a restaurant in Hillcrest and I ran out of the door to get the photo of the day, The waitess must thought I was leaving without paying...until she realized I leaft everything but the camera at the restaurant.

Waiting at the Washington Dulles International Airport for my flyght that was delay more than three hours; I got stock at the gate at sunset time, so I turn looking for my photo of the day, and the only view with out people were these planes.
